We provide funding to support academics, arts, and athletics across every grade at every school to establish a strong Malibu pathway for every student.

THis year markes an important moment for malibu schools.
The past year brought both devastation and momentum — from the impact of the Palisades Fire, to the opening of the new Malibu High School, to progress toward making a Malibu Unified School District a real possibility.
As our community continues to navigate change, the Malibu Education Foundation exists to ensure students continue to thrive — academically, creatively, and athletically. We work in partnership with school leadership, educators, families, and local businesses to provide stability, opportunity, and enrichment across all four Malibu schools.

MALIBU CITY COUNCIL MOVES MUSD FORWARD!
With the 12.8.25 unanimous vote in favor of approving the execution of the three negotiated agreements, the unification moves forward. Throughout the transition, MEF will help fund essential staff and programs in the early years of MUSD. Your donation will strengthen our schools, protect critical positions, and support the programs our students rely on.

MEF Gala: Our second annual gala will take place on Saturday, October 10th. Save the date and stay tuned for details.
Malibu Moves: MEF is a charity partner for Malibu’s annual road, taking place at Zuma beach on October 24th & 25th. Sign up at https://www.malibumoves.com and join Team MEF.
MEF Tree Lot: Taking place at the Ioki lot on Webb way starting Friday, November 27th. Buy a tree, wreath, or garland - fresh from Oregon - and support our schools. Community Night is tentatively planned for December 11th.
